Many of the lower-tier WWE wrestlers were worried that there would be another round of cuts seeing how Heat and Velocity would be discontinued when WWE moves to the USA Network at the end of the month. However, WWE still have international programming commitments to fulfill and so thus the Heat and Velocity tapings will continue for an undetermined amount of time. Management has told the lower-tier wrestlers to not worry about getting fired as there won't be any cuts this month like many wrestlers had previously feared.
According to the Ross Report, WWE.com will make an announcement concerning Heat and Velocity later this week, which seems to confirm that the shows will continue in one way or another. WWE has been thinking of having more exclusive matches on the website.
Syndication is also another option. WWE made the decision to discontinue airing "Bottomline" and "Afterburn" for syndication last month. If the company is already producing the shows for international markets, the costs of syndicating it to stations that wanted to continue WWE weekend programming isn't that much.
